Very nice wordplay here - cool lyrics. I’m not sure about the chorus melody. It’s okay, but if you could make it a bit more catchy the song may have better chances.

Hey Chad, i’m diggin the vibe of this song and it definately has a contemporary country vibe to it. Lyrics/hook i really like. I do agree with Frank in regards to the chorus, i would also like to hear a change in the melody. Keep up the good songwriting. I like your stuff.

I also think there should be more contrast between verses and chorus, or a hookable melody for the chorus.
