Swept away
BY Cooriokhen z Bourque
verse 1
Its you and me it aint no mystery that the good lord led us here
sitting on the beach holding hands all week I can see the love in your eyes
chorus 1
white sandy beaches in Jamaica getting swept away getting swept away
walking hand in hand just relaxing in the sand
and I wouldnt have it any other way.
Instrumental
day by day night by night watching the sunset and holding you tight
living a dream if only for a week
and im so glad your in my life
chorus 1
white sandy beaches in Jamaica getting swept away getting swept away
walking hand in hand just relaxing in the sand
and I wouldnt have it any other way.

Random thought… since the song was inspired by the resort, it might make sense to end the chorus with the line “At a place called Swept Away”. But… if you do that… it may need some setup so the listener knows it’s an actual place.
Or, you can ignore my thoughts all together, as I’m halfway through a Jack and Coke after work… LOL!

P.S. You probably shouldn’t post more than a song or two per week, as we need time to digest them.
