Sometimes the things that we do are a greater expression of worship than anything we can sing or say. This came out of a time when I was really struggling, but felt God's pleasure in my unwillingness to give up.

There are givers and takers in life. This song is about a couple who are both givers. They have discovered that by going the extra mile for each other that it makes for a stronger relationship. Growing up my Grand-Pa would put on his old hat and take a walk in the woods behind our house every afternoon so I ask him why one day and he said it gave a man time to pray,so years latter thinking about that I wrote this song.
