She was sitting underneath the trees staring at the leaves
wondering if they would turn brown

She had a cell phone in her hand and a lap top by her side
neither one was on

she could hear that horn blowing down the road and she wonders
if hes home

it don't matter anyway in her mind hes gone

there were no messages and no missed calls no voice mails at all
