The idea was the way adults think of spending the night with someone. It was a common phrase my brother, cousins and I said a lot to our parents. "Can I go spend the night at so and so's" or "Can so and so spend the night with us". Now days when we would have a different meaning to Spend the Night.

Harlan County Kentucky was notorious for moon shine running, and sometimes the young runners had to make a choice when it came to getting caught.

This song is a prayer to God about not just being inspired, but actually being forever changed for the better after spending time with Him.

I had a dream that I was with other people at like a tent revival, and they were singing the chorus to this song. This song is a song of hope, and of telling about how Jesus' blood cleanses from sin!

Back in 1998 I was inspired by Alan Jackson's song "Right On The Money".

Written by: Phil Vassar and Charlie Black.

I wrote this song with by buddy, Steve Leslie. Joy to the whole danged world.

Genre: Christian Pop/Rock/Country is what we we're aiming for. This co-write is with a friend of mine in Kentucky. This is an acoustic version, but I want to rock it up a little once we get all three elements of the song right. Lyric, melody and chord progression.







At no point am I trying to sound like a solo artist here. This recording is a one shot, just plugged in and played rough demo. No effects, no in-depth production and no auto-tune. I tried to stay in time the best I could.
