I am a point in my life where it is time to chase my dreams that had been put on hold for awhile. I have been writing as long as I can remember but NSAI has been a great resource to help me learn and grow in the art of song writing. I am excited for this journey.

Strong in lyric writing and can tap out a melody

I have always loved Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and Dolly for being such strong influences for women in country. I listened to alot of Southrn rock/country in high school with Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker, Ozark Mountain Daredevils to name a few. I love Garth Brooks for his creativity and Vince Gill for his beautiful tone. Kenny Chesney has written many personal songs whose lyrics speak to me.
Now I find myself listening to songs on the radio and dissecting them! Love some of the lyrics written by Luke Combs. I could go on and on....
