Song about a guy who likes older women. Original idea for the song was "I like my whiskey older", but found the phrase "older whiskey" flowed better... pun intended.

Murray Daigle and Bobby John and I sat in the studio and wrote the song together. Murray came up with the beat and Bobby and I started with the song idea and the lyric.

This may be more Pop than Country, but it's hard to tell these days! Song about a guy who can't say the words "I Love You". Got the idea while taking a shower one morning with too much steam.

I wanted to write a song for my baby granddaughter and after a few songs that were Ok, this one came along. I would rewrite a bit of the lyrics should an artist want to cut the song as a few words or a line or two could be changed. It could be for a male or female singer or group. Pop or country. I played all parts of this production and felt I sang the song pretty much the way I felt it should be.

I had popped into a session with Jimmy Borja a talented Nashville writer to record a song we had just written called 7 Billion. At the end of the session - I sat at the keyboard and came up with this chord progression. The words came quickly after that and within about 45 minutes I had this song done.

where we live in Arkansas, just south of our little ranch is a ridgeline, the Waldron Ridge... at just the right moment, when the sun peeks over the ridge it shines thru our bedroom window, dances across Rita Sue's face and thus the song ... kind of a self portrait of us ...

My first time top lining (writing to a loop/beat). I wrote this with my friend Sean Gasaway after I had wrote a loop in Logic along with my acoustic. The title sort of jumped out of it.
