My life has been a battle between my creative and self destructive tendencies. Sometimes the self destructive side actually feeds the creative side. As a songwriter, I try to put all my personal experiences into each one of my songs. I am as truthful as I can possibly be in my songs. No matter how hard or embarrassing it might be because as I like to say, “The truth writes itself”. It can be as simple, and every bit as hard, as that.

I play rhythm guitar and bass. I am much stronger on lyrics, than melodies. I can sing, in some peoples opinion. Others, not so much.

Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Guy Clark, Hank Williams Sr. And Jr., Waylon, Willie, I could write alll day. I love them all.
