This is a rough recording of a song I wrote after a breakup with the girl I thought I was gonna marry. The music and melody came easy but the message I'm still working on. I'm still not sure if this should be a relationship or spiritual song.
I'm open to any feedback. Specifically regarding the lyrics, what do you think of the concept? Should this be a spiritual song or a relationship one? My strength is music and melodies so I'm open to any strong lyricists that may want to cowrite this.

Words and Music by Carlos Tabora
I wake up in the morning
But I feel the same
Hoping that my dream last night
Would take my pain away
I'm losing my senses
And I don't know what to say
Why won't you stay with me?
Why won't you stay with me?
CHORUS
Cause if I reach out for Salvation
Am I gonna find a helping hand (Help me baby)
Cause I could use a resolution
If I'm gonna heal my soul
Please help me understand
If I'm gonna heal my soul
Please help my understand
I'm driving down this lonely highway
Praying that I'll see a sign
That will help me find my way
If you need to hear a word...
Please tell me what to say
Why won't you stay with me?
Why won't you stay with me?
BRIDGE
Help me up help me through my confusion
For I could use some piece of mind tonight
And Help me out, help me see a solution
If I'm gonna heal my soul
Won't you help me heal my soul
CHORUS
Cause if I reach out for Salvation
Am I gonna find a helping hand (Help me baby)
Cause I could use a resolution
If I'm gonna heal my soul
Please help me understand...
(Piano Solo)
CHORUS
Cause if I reach out for Salvation
Am I gonna find a helping hand (Help me baby)
Cause I could use a resolution
If I'm gonna heal my soul
Please help me understand...
If I'm gonna heal my soul
Please help me understand...
One more time...
If you won't stay with me...
Please help me understand
