This song was originally written and demoed about 10 years ago. It was put on hold three times (Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis and Charlie Pride), but never quite made their albums, so I decided it was time for a rewrite. This is the finished product complete with spanish guitar, fiddle and steel, and I couldn't be happier with it.

I wrote this song with the idea of what God might say to America...2 separate fans emailed me to say that this was just about the best song they had ever heard. Too bad, it's basically non commercial. However, it was #1 on the charts for bluegrass in Canada on N1M radio for several weeks.

This version has vocals added to it. I've just added some new lyrics. This is meant to be a humorous Christian song for kids and adults too with the exercise I just added. I used the mic on my computer and the vocals were out of sync with the song. I was able to synchronize them to the background music eventually but it's not perfect. I made the vocal tracks by bringing the backing track into audacity and recording directly over it because I don't know yet how to do vocal tracks in BIAB. There's only one way to go with this I hope and that's in the direction of 'better.'

I wrote this song to be silly and fun, something people can dance around to and tap their feet, clap their hands, etc. I guess it's a kid's Christian song but fun for adults too, hopefully. I am just learning Band in a Box. This is my third background track; as in only three songs in total completed so far. I will add the lyrics and upload the next version when it's done. I need an inexpensive but good USB mic. If anyone knows the name of a good one that's cheap, please let me know. Thanks.

Living in Hollywood and Topanga, Ca. I've seen a lot of Falling Stars over the years.
It's a hard reality that dreams take a great deal of work to come true. This song was a take on that theme. Once again the genere would probably be Alt-Country/Americana
