I wrote this one with Skip Black. Matt Dame is on vocals.
You clearly had fun writing this one. Lots of clever lines, very engaging, liked the “flip of a switch” and “Jekyll to Hyde” lines. I also didn’t get the “color” lines. Maybe a tad overdone with the “side” variations, but pretty solid, fun lyrics. I did get annoyed at the video arcade background music.

I like it! I was expecting a red side, white side, and a blue side, but it worked well as is.

Boss kept me late again
Got on my bad side
Interstate was moving fast
Got on my good side
Pulled up to my baby’s house
She climbed up my stepside
She kissed me on my mouth
Here comes my wild side
CHORUS
That girl’s touch is like the flip of a switch
And I’m always up for whatever it is
This good ‘ol boy goes from Jekyll to Hyde
We do some wrong things right
She gets on my wild side
Started off shootin’ pool
Getting on my red side
She gets me dancin’ like a fool
Showing off my white side
She pulls in real close to me
Says, “Let’s go outside”
I think she wants to see
A little more of my wild side
CHORUS
Countryside
Riverside
Fireside
All right
Tattoo on her backside
CHORUS
That girl’s touch is like the flip of a switch
And I’m always up for whatever it is
This good ‘ol boy goes from Jekyll to Hyde
We do some wrong things right
We’re in for one long night
She gets on my wild side
She gets on my wild side

Love the convention you’re using. The whole thing flows great. I don’t know what a “red side”
I fully expected a Merle reference… “Ignore the bar flies; gettin’ on my fightin’ side” or “Jukebox was playin’ Merle; love me some Fightin’ Side”
Only other thought is that “I’m always up for whatever it is” brings out my grammar side. I know what you’re saying, but I’m immediately linking “it” to “that girl’s touch” and it makes me stumble.
This is a fun one… thanks for sharing.
