I posted this song on Frettie over a year ago. After receiving feedback from Brent Baxter I thought about his comments for a full year before sitting down to do a rewrite. This is the resulting new demo. Thanks Brent! Frettie is a great tool for us songwriters to use as long as we don't allow our egos to get in the way.
I hear George Strait, I guess the problem is getting it to him even though the singer is very good also

Hey Marvin! Real nice song, pure Country music right there! Lyrics were fantastic. If I was to have any questions about the song it would be, when you mention she wrote on the calendar cube that “your broken heart would heal”, it leaves me wondering, did she know she was going to break your heart and if so, why and how did she do it? Honestly, other than feeling like we should have a little more info as to what happened, I cant say a bad thing about this song. Everything about it was really cool! The singer did an amazing job and has the perfect tone, the music and production was super good! Absolutely fantastic job and I enjoyed listening! Thank you for sharing it with us.
