Hey, Stephen! Thanks for sharing your song with us. I dig the title. I like the groove alright, but I’ll echo Frank in that I’d prefer more energy, especially when the 2nd verse comes around. Kinda sits in the same place energy-wise for too long. For my ears, anyway.
Hope that helps! Please pay it forward by leaving a comment on another writer’s song. Thanks!

Hi Stephen,
I was moved by your beautiful comments on my song, GOD ONLY KNOWS! Thank you so much!! That said, most of the songwriting I’ve composed were not so much about trying to write a hit song, but rather as an outlet associated with some emotional issue. Nevertheless, at this point in the game, I would feel validated if I could get a cut and the template for country & pop songs are somewhat consistent in terms of time (about 3.5 minutes), a couple of verses an uplifted chorus and a turn or a bridge. Your song was 5:08 minutes and you repeated, “Miss Anonymous,” 33 times. All said, You have a good voice and I liked your guitar groove. I look forward to hearing your next song!!!

Hi Jack, Thank you so much for the review It is greatly appreciated and your most welcome for my review on your song. Yes, “Miss Anonymous” is repeated a number of times, Ive actually never counted though lol. Probably one of the only songs Ive ever written with a repetitive line but I’m not surprised growing up with bands like Cream, Rolling Stones then Nirvana and Foo Fighters etc who often used repeat lines. This is one of my older songs from back in the 90’s so yep its quite lengthy because at the time I didn’t have the knowledge of staying within the 3 to 3.5min marker but then again I think when I was younger I was more busy trying to be a rockstar than a writer. I will be posting more soon, I write in a variety of genres but im also still a bit of a newbie to the site so Im not sure how I ended up filing this one under Country. lol Anywho, thanks again Jack I truly appreciate your feedback, it’s our honesty that helps make us better writers.

Hi Stephen, nice idea, the style reminds me a bit of the Foo Fighters, but without their high energy level. So I wish the singer would scream a little more and the drums would be louder and wilder, then this could be a really good rock song. The way it sounds now, it’s a bit too good.
