Bluesy alternative country sound similar to Chris Stapleton or Midland, with a chorus reminiscent of the Eagles.

I had this "friend" he and his fiancee called off their wedding three weeks before they were to marry. As "he" was taking down the memories this song came about.

This song is about someone having enough of a situation, but being asked to stay a little longer. I was envisioning Chris Stapleton style male vocals, bluesy guitar and everything that goes along with the pop country style. Its a rough recording of just me and my guitar but I'll likely try to make a demo out of it.

Written with good friend Jerry Barlow. Song is a sad song that turns into an uptempo type Chorus.
I think it works, but would welcome some comments.

Recently I woke up at 3:30 in the morning and couldn't sleep. I began thinking about my wife and how we will celebrate our 15th anniversary this year. I thought about how not only does she get me but also how she has never stopped surprising me.

I wrote this song about my oldest daughter and coming to grips with her getting older.

We can manage to put on a strong front during the daylight hours....but then comes the night.
