I wrote this song for my daughter. I consolidated it with a picture video and presented is as part of my speech. I am not a vocalist but I wanted to record this entirely by myself as my gift to her.
I'm not real certain of the genre so I chose the closest to be country.

This is a song I've written as a duet (I'm singing both parts because its just me and my pets right now!) I wanted the song to just stay retrospective...and not get inspirational or angry or add some life lesson at the end but just keep with the one emotion and just dig into that. Hopefully I accomplished that?

I wrote this song driving south through South Carolina’s Low country headed down to Savannah Georgia. It’s a feel good coming home type song that takes visuals from and around the area of the country referred as the low country.

With the current female explosion in country music spear headed by Kasey Musgraves, I'm thinking it may be time to dust this song off and start pitching it again.
