I was at home getting cleaned up after a day out working in our yard when my husband came in from work and yelled out "Lucy, I'm Home" just like he's done practically all of our married life, except that day it hit me, "What if I never got to hear that again?" Maybe there are still some "I Love Lucy" fans out there that can relate!

My dad is turning 85 this week. I wrote this for him. He has severe tinnitus from working on aircraft carriers in the Navy. He is my hero.

This is a contemporary old fashioned love letter written to a soldier off to war on our anniversary.... before they had email, text and facetime....... it's my personal song so I'll save you the details. ....No idea how to rewrite it to make current so I guess it's off to the movies. with any luck ....I refer to this one a casualty of war;( As always, Jennifer Nelson Dowdicans vocals are off the chain in the song!!

I co-wrote this song with Ryan Weaver who wanted a driving fast and furious song. He had an excellent title, storyline and melody which made it a fun song to write. Hope you enjoy it as much as my dance clan does!

Well, I say this story on the news the other day. A woman who was caught stealing money from a local high profile, non-profit organization. She was charged and the news got out. She looked distraught and was crying with her mascara running down her face. Not Tammy Faye Baker running, but running. And I thought of the title and worked around.



i'm not sure this is blues, maybe more folk/blues or Texas Blues, probably more.



There's a little break in the middle between 2nd and 3rd verses, a place holder for a lead or maybe bridge.
